NOCIONES PREVIAS
Para tejer este jersey es necesario saber tejer
punto del derecho y del revés, tejer en
circular, montar puntos mediante cualquier
método, aunque se recomienda el de la hebra
larga, realizar aumentos tejiendo puntos
por delante y por detrás, realizar aumentos al
aire para las sisas, remontar y retomar puntos,
realizar disminuciones, la técnica de los
puntos deslizados y cerrar puntos.

CONSTRUCCIÓN
Este jersey tiene una construcción top-down,
es decir se empieza tejiendo por el escote, se
continúa por el canesú realizando aumentos
en el raglán, se separan mangas y cuerpo, y
se continúa tejiendo el cuerpo en circular. A
continuación, se retoman las mangas y se tejen
en circular hasta el puño. Se realiza de una sola
pieza, sin ninguna costura. Se teje en punto del
derecho y punto del revés, con un motivo de
puntos deslizados en el delantero. El cuerpo
y las mangas acaban con un remate en punto
elástico con el borde en punto del derecho.

22 puntos y 33 vueltas para una muestra de 10 x 10
cm [4 x 4”] en punto jersey, sin bloquear.

8 (9, 9, 10, 10, 11) ovillos de Baby Cashsoft Merino
de Rowan (57% lana, 33% acrílico, 10% cashmere; 50
g / 130 m; 1.76 oz / 142 yd).
Los colores utilizados son el 123 en la versión mostaza,
y el 125 en la versión verde.

AGUJAS
Agujas circulares de 3.75 mm [US 5] con cables de
40 cm [16”] para el escote y 80 cm [32”] para el
cuerpo, o las necesarias para obtener la muestra de
tensión (sin bloquear).

OTROS ACCESORIOS
1 marcador para el inicio de vuelta, 4 marcadores
para los aumentos, aguja lanera para rematar

SKILLS
To knit this sweater you need to know how to
knit and purl, knit in the round, cast on stitches
with any method (although the long-tail cast-on
is recommended), make increases by knitting on
the same stitch twice and with the “make one
away” technique (the one most commonly used
to cast on stitches at the underarm, also known
as the backwards loop method), pick up stitches,
make decreases, be familiar with slipping stitches,
and to bind off stitches.

CONSTRUCTION
This sweater is knit top-down, i.e., it is started
to knit at the neckline, and then you will knit the
yoke, shaping it with raglan increases, separate
sleeves from body, and continue knitting the body
in the round. Then the resting sleeve stitches are
placed back on the needles and the sleeves are
knit in the round to the cuff. It is worked seamlessly,
all in one piece. It is worked in stockinette
stitch with a slipped-stitch motif at the front. The
body and the sleeves are finished.

GAUGE
22 stitches and 33 rows in 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] in stockinette
stitch, without blocking.

YARN
8 (9, 9, 10, 10, 11) balls of Baby Cashsoft Merino by Rowan
(57% Wool, 33% Acryl, 10% Cashmere; 50 g / 130 m;
1.76 oz / 142 yd).
The colourways used are the Pickles 123 for the mustard
version, and the Cecily 125 for the green version.

NEEDLES
3.75 mm [US 5] circular needles with a cable length of
40 cm [16”] for the neckband and yoke and 80 cm [32”]
for the body, or the required needle size to obtain gauge
(without blocking).

OTHER NOTIONS
1 stitch marker for the beginning of the round. 4 different
stitch markers for the raglan increases. Tapestry needle to
weave in ends.
