NOCIONES PREVIAS
Para tejer esta chaqueta es necesario saber tejer punto del derecho y del revés, tejer en circular, montar puntos mediante cualquier método, aunque se recomienda el de la hebra larga; el montaje de puntos por el método turco, realizar aumentos, preferiblemente con el método del montaje de puntos al aire (el que se emplea para montar puntos en las sisas de las mangas); levantar y tejer puntos del derecho (remontar puntos), hacer reducciones, la técnica de los puntos deslizados, cerrar puntos por el método kitchener y remate perimetral con i-cord.
CONSTRUCCIÓN
Esta chaqueta tiene una construcción side-to-side en dos piezas, es decir, se empieza tejiendo, en circular, por el puño de cada una de las mangas hacia el cuerpo, después se hace un montaje por el método turco para el cuerpo, que se teje en plano simultaneando espalda y delantero, se dejan en espera los puntos de los delanteros para dar más longitud a la espalda, luego se unen las dos piezas por el centro de la espalda, y finalmente se teje el remate de todo el escote en plano y con el método de los puntos deslizados. Se teje en punto del derecho y punto del revés, y el remate perimetral de la prenda que se realiza con i-cord.
MUESTRA
18 puntos y 24 vueltas para una muestra de 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4” en punto jersey, sin bloquear. HILO 5 (6, 6, 7, 7, 8) ovillos de Kid Classic de Rowan en color principal y 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1) ovillo de Kid Classic de Rowan en color de contraste (70% lana, 22% mohair, 8% poliamida; 50 g / 140 m; 1.76 oz / 153 yd) . Los colores utilizados son el 00888 (gris) y el color 00831 (azul marino).
AGUJAS
Agujas circulares de 5 mm US 8 con cable de 80 cm 32”, o las necesarias para obtener la muestra de tensión (sin bloquear). Si no se quiere utilizar la técnica del magic loop para las mangas, se recomienda un juego de agujas cortas con cable de 13 cm 5”otal, sumando cables y agujas, máximo de 23 cm 9”). Agujas de 4 mm US 6 para el remate en i-cord.
