Este chal se teje de arriba hacia abajo (topdown)empezando por el borde superior, en elcentro, con el montaje “garter tab” o montajede borde en punto del derecho, y creciendohacia los laterales y hacia abajo, su forma finales triangular.

Agujas circulares de 3.5 mm [US 4] con cable de 80cm [32”], o las necesarias para obtener la muestra detensión (sin bloquear). Agujas de al menos un númeromayor para el cierre.

CONSTRUCTION
This shawl is knit top-down, starting at the centre
of the top border, with a garter tab cast-on,
then growing to the sides and down, its final
shape is triangular.

GAUGE
23 stitches and 32 rows in 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] in
stockinette stitch, without blocking.

YARN
5 balls of Alpaca Classic by Rowan in Colour 1 (main
colour) and 1 ball of Alpaca Classic by Rowan in Colour
2 (contrast colour) (57% Alpaca, 43% Cotton; 25
g / 120 m; 0.88 oz / 131 yd).
The colourways used are the Golden Girl 114 as Colour
1 and the Salmon 128 as Colour 3 in the ochre
version, and the Deep Teal 109 as Colour 1 and the
Green Moss 111 as the Colour 2 in the blue version.

NEEDLES
3.5 mm [US 4] circular needles with a cable length
of 80 cm [32”], or the required needle size to obtain
gauge (without blocking). Needles at least one
size bigger for binding off.

OTHER NOTIONS
1 stitch marker for the centre of the shawl. Tapestry
needle to weave in ends.
