NOCIONES PREVIAS
Para tejer este cuello es necesario saber tejer punto del derecho, del revés, montar puntos mediante cualquier método, aunque se recomienda el de la hebra larga, tejer en circular, conocer la técnica del colourwork, tejer siguiendo un gráfico, y cerrar puntos. Es imprescindible saber leer gráficos, ya que las instrucciones para tejer el cuerpo del cuello con el detalle en colourwork se dan únicamente en forma de gráfico.
 
CONSTRUCCIÓN
Este cuello se teje en circular, de una sola pieza. Se teje de arriba abajo, empezando con un elástico, seguido del cuerpo que se teje íntegramente en motivo de colourwork, y se acaba con un elástico inferior.
 
MUESTRA
22 puntos y 30 vueltas para una muestra de 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4"] en punto jersey, después de bloquear.
20 puntos y 28 vueltas para una muestra de 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] en el motivo del cuello, después de bloquear.

2 madejas, 1 en color 1 (color principal) y otra en color 2 (color de contraste) de Pebble Island de Rowan (100% lana; 108 m / 50 g; 118 yd / 1.76 oz)

Los colores utilizados son el Tussac 023 y el Teaberry 024 para la versión azul / verde oscuro, el  Kelp 028 y el Rockhopper 027 para la versión marrón / amarillo  y el Diddle Dee 026 y el Macaroni 029 para la versión burdeos / naranja.

AGUJAS
Agujas circulares de 4 mm [US 6] con cable de 60 cm [24"] o las necesarias para obtener la muestra de tensión.

To knit this cowl you need to know how to cast on stitches with any method, although the long tail cast-on is recommended, to knit, purl, and work in the round, to be familiar with the stranded colourwork technique, to work following charted instructions, and to bind off stitches. It is essential to be able to follow charted instructions, as they are used for the colourwork detail of the body of the cowl and written instructions are not provided.
 
CONSTRUCTION
This cowl is worked seamlessly in the round. It is worked top-down, starting with a ribbing, followed by the body which is knit entirely in the colourwork motif, and finished with a bottom ribbing.
 
GAUGE
22 stitches and 30 rounds in 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
20 stitches and 28 rounds in 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] in colourwork motif, after blocking.
 
YARN
2 skeins, 1 in Colour 1 (main colour) and 1 in Colour 2 (contrast colour) of Pebble Island by Rowan (100% Wool; 108 m / 50 g; 118 yd / 1.76 oz).
