NOCIONES PREVIAS
Para tejer este chal es necesario saber tejer punto del derecho, del revés, montar puntos mediante cualquier método para empezar el chal y el knitted cast-on para empezar el i-cord, remontar puntos, echar hebra, hacer aumentos, cerrar puntos por el método del i-cord y conocer la técnica de puntos deslizados. Es imprescindible saber leer gráficos, ya que las instrucciones para tejer el chal se dan únicamente en forma de gráfico.
CONSTRUCCIÓN
Este chal se teje de arriba hacia abajo (top down) empezando por el borde superior, en el centro y creciendo hacia los laterales y hacia abajo, su forma final es triangular, se remata con un i-cord perimetral que hace que el borde tenga consistencia. Es importante remarcar que para tejer el chal no hay que cortar las hebras de los cambios de color, los colores se van subiendo por el lateral hasta el final del chal, por ese motivo una vez acabado se realiza un i-cord, para que no se aprecie la subida de los distintos hilos a lo largo de todo el recorrido del chal.

26 puntos y 33 vueltas para una muestra de 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4” en punto jersey, sin bloquear.

Los colores utilizados son el verde “Verde Gordalilla” 0839 como color 1, el gris “Noche estrellada” 201 como color 2 y el blanco “Uva moscatel” 0210 como color 3 en la versión verde, y el rosa “Flamenco rosado” 1677 como color 1, el teja “Campo arado” 1246 como color 2 y el beige “Queso curado” 1309 como color 3 en la versión rosa.

SKILLS

CONSTRUCTION
This shawl is knit top-down, starting at the centre of the top border, then growing to the sides and down, its final shape is triangular. It is finished with an i-cord all around, to give consistency to the edge. It is important to note
that you do not need to cut the yarn between colour changes, as the colours are carried up at the edge until the end of the pattern. That is why once finished knitting the main body of the shawl, an i-cord is worked all around the edge, to hide the colours that were carried up along the side.
