NOCIONES PREVIAS
Para tejer este gorro es necesario saber montar puntosmediante cualquier método, aunque se recomienda elde la hebra larga, tejer en circular, punto del derechoy del revés, conocer la técnica del colourwork, tejersiguiendo un gráfico, realizar disminuciones y cerrarpuntos. Es imprescindible saber leer gráficos, ya quelas instrucciones para tejer el cuerpo del gorro con eldetalle en colourwork se dan únicamente en formade gráfico.
CONSTRUCCIÓN
Este gorro se teje de abajo arriba en circular, comenzandopor el elástico, después se teje el cuerpo en colourworky se termina tejiendo la coronación, donde serecomienda usar magic loop o agujas de doble punta.
MUESTRA
26 puntos y 32 vueltas para una muestra de 10 x
10 cm [4 x 4”] en punto jersey, sin bloquear.
26 puntos y 30 vueltas para una muestra de 10 x
10 cm [4 x 4”] en el motivo del gorro, sin bloquear.
24 puntos y 28 vueltas para una muestra de 10
x 10 cm [4 x 4”] en el motivo del gorro, después
de bloquear.

2 madejas, 1 en color 1 (color principal) y otra en color
2 (color de contraste) de Merino DK de Hedgehog
Fibres (100% merino superwash; 200 m / 100 g; 218
yd / 3.52 oz). Con dos madejas tienes suficiente para
tejer dos gorros en colores invertidos en cualquier talla.
Los colores utilizados son el Stone y el Harajuku para
la versión crema / rosa y el Coral y el Cedar para la
versión rosa / azul.
AGUJAS
Agujas circulares de 4 mm [US 6] con cable de 40
cm [16”] o las necesarias para obtener la muestra de
tensión. Agujas de doble punta de 4 mm [US 6] o
circulares con el cable más largo para poder trabajar la
coronación en magic loop.
OTROS ACCESORIOS
Un marcador para el inicio de vuelta. Aguja lanera
para rematar las hebras.

SKILLS

This hat is worked bottom-up in the round, startingwith the ribbing, then the body of the hat is workedin colourwork and finally the crown is shaped withdecreases, where working with magic loop or doublepointed needles is recommended.

22 stitches and 32 rounds in 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] in
stockinette stitch, without blocking.
26 stitches and 30 rounds in 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] in
colourwork motif, without blocking.
24 stitches and 28 rounds in 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] in
colourwork motif, after blocking.
YARN
2 skeins, 1 in Colour 1 (main colour) and 1 in Colour
2 (contrast colour) of Merino DK by Hedgehog
Fibres (100% Superwash Merino; 200 m / 100
g; 218 yd / 3.52 oz). With 2 skeins you will have
enough yarn to knit two hats with inverted colours
in any size.
The colourways used are Stone and Harajuku for the
cream / pink version, and Coral and Cedar for the
pink / blue version.
NEEDLES
4 mm [US 6] circular needles with a cable length
of 40 cm [16”], or the required needle size to obtain
gauge. 4 mm [US 6] DPNs or circular needles with
a longer cable to work the crown in magic loop.
OTHER NOTIONS
1 stitch marker for the beginning of the round. Tapestry
needle to weave in ends.
